plus the millions of naps inbetween.
wow, my days off work have amounted to nothing but sweet sweet sleep.
mind you, i'm not saying this is a bad thing.
just that now i'm overtired.
and everyone knows the drill.
yes, the one where you're too tired to do soemthing but not too tired to sleep.
so you lie in bed, awake, waiting.
waiting to fall asleep.

okay, so i decided it was time for an update.
i'm finally getting rid of this cold that i've had for the past week, although i still have the cough. which is better than a sore throat and headaches and sneezing any day.
so, as i might've mentioned, i'm taking the year off. i realllly want to travel and you know it's gonna be easier now than later when i have a committed job. so i'm going to work and save. i want to see almost all of Europe--england, spain, italy, poland, ireland, prague, france, etc. and i want to go to brazil, and even places i've been when i was younger but don't quite remember : new york, california, and even check out my beloved new orleans.
i figure i'll have my whole life to work and go to school. so i'm in no rush.
anyways, lets see, so besides work and...uhm...work, i've been ..sleeping! annnd watching season 2 of The OC!
now that i've watched season 2 again, i definately like it a whole lot more. disc 4 is my absolute favorite. it's got rainy day women and the mallepisode and the bonfire...ahh ♥ for The OC.
the week before school we also went to BirchRun. fun times shopping.
i'm also proud to say that out of all the money dad spent..i got 4 things! i know, a fucking record.
but it was fun shopping there, we also went to target where i finally got my gaucho pants! i fucking love them and i want them in black too. and they were so cheap at target, so you gotta love it.
target is the shit.
terri's wedding was also this past friday. a lovely cerimony followed by a lovely reception at Foxhills country club. gotta love the country club.
i wish we could've stayed longer, but grandma was getting tired and so i figured we should leave.
the wedding wasn't as big as i thought it'd be, but like i said, it was lovely.
anyways, i'm listening and i'm liking what i'm hearing from The Bloc Party.
well i think i've covered almost everything.
it's sunny and nice out, i love it.

hey there..
well it's been a little while since i updated, so to get up to date..let me start at the A-A-r Concert:: we left around 3ish and got there shortly after five. so ya know we're all really hungry and we decide to go into the club to get some directions. so theres absolutely no one around but there is music coming from upstairs. so we made our way up and i slightly poked my head around the corner -- only to see the AAR playing "time stands still". so we stayed for our priiVate show and then left to get McD's (which took forvever, and not to mention the guy was all huffy about it! literally 20 minutes or More in the drive-thru!) anyways, so we get back to The Temple Club and wait in line. They finally let us into the Lounge wher ea band called Stationary Set opened up. Followed by two more bands : Number One Fan, and Smiling From Chicago --> i believe that's what their name was.
so the Opened with One more Sad Song, and then played songs like Dirty Little Secret, Move Along, On top of the World, Time stands Still ♥, and closed with The LAst Song.
we we're in the front right up against the rail, so as you can imagine, it was a pretty damn good show. Lorraine also managed to get one of Nicks Guitar picks. this one chick got like all of them...! so jealous. but anyways it was a good show and we then drove home.
so since we got home, i've just been working and stuff, Ari had her birthday party today (birthday isn't till sunday) and it was alright. after that we went with shannon to Jacques new place. their new apartment is alot bigger and even nicer than the old one. we just helped put away some of their kitchen stuff, and then we left.
i'm also trying to find something to wear to this wedding we have coming up..hmmm i dunno. i guess ive got plenty of time till the 9th, but still, i thought i'd get it out of the way.
oh well.
anyways, i'm tired and yeah...it's definately bedtime!

as you heard, my lovely Brandon Flowers was married in Hawaii like last week. *tear* but it's all good. I'm glad he married someone normal ya know. although, i am awfully damn curious to see what this girl looks like.
anyways, nothing much going on, working and working. i don't mind it though. cashier shifts go by so quickly. plus it's fun working with nice people.
On the 16th we're going to the All American Rejects Concert @ The Temple Club in Lansing.
should be good. those guys are too funny, such characters they are.
so today after i got home from work, i made a blog at Blogspot. well, let me tell you, i was getting sooo frustrated with my template and shit, because it wasn't loading properly and so then i'd have to go back and do everything again..well you can imagine. so i closed it for the day. i'm going to have to try it some day that i'm not agitated and tired.
i'm watching Miss Teen USA---it was funny...when they were introducing the girls, they kinda of gave this smile/laugh. it was funny...like...omg, what the hell funny. pathetic in other words. it's funny as little girls we alllllways used to watch Miss USA pagents and came close to being in those little state pagents..the thought seems a little scary now.
ahh yes, so bored right now, but so happy i'm not doing anything.
i have to go pick up my dad in about 20 minutes.
more like...now.

It's lovely taking a shower and then all of a sudden the power goes out...ooh yeah, so fun.
i got scared though and was screaming...eventually, stace lit a candle and put it in the bathroom..
ahh, 2am and going to London tomorrow. fun...atleast it's only like a 2 hour drive, so it shouldn't be that bad.
Anyways, excited for the All American Rejects concert on the 16th. should be fun! and i hope we get to meet them, that'd be sweet.
Although, i met The Killers--and look how obessed i am now!
well, i love that i'm such a good fan (yeahh...that's right..from the beginning baby!)
anyways, just thought i'd update.

okay so it's been a couple days since i got back from kalamazoo/camping..anyways, heres some of the things that went on...
Day 1) we left for kalamazoo around 7:30 or so, and got there at about 10:30. we then ate, because joti's parents love making us food! so then we went to target and meijers and then dropped hot dogs off at joti's bf place. we then made our way to mt. pleasant for The Killers concert!
--i will tell all about the concert at the end of the post--
so after the concert we drove back to kalamazoo and crashed at Joti's.
Day 2) we left at around lunch time to go to Warren Dunes State Park, where we were camping. so the first thing we all decide to do is go swimming. it was perfect, the weather and everything. so then joti's bf and his friend got there and then we all went to the claypits. it was a nice little walk...yeaaa...but it was fun. like we'd see people coming out completely covered in clay, and we were all like, i dont wanna come out like that, but of course we did! so then we washed off and went to go set up camp while it was still light out.
Day 3) we all woke up, took showers and then headed out to Indiana to go do some shopping at their outlet mall. all except joti's bf and his friend, they left shortly after showers. so then after shopping, we came back and since no one could nap, we could decided to go swimming! so of course, no one wanted to bring anything wiht them down to the beach, we all decided to leave our clothes and shoes in the car, so i threw my keys in, under my hoodie, and without checking if the door was unlocked, i slammed it shut. so we all went swimming before we had to worry about how to get my keys out. well, anyways it was a good thing stacie brought her spare. so we all walked the 1.5-2 miles back to the camp to get her keys..while we were half naked, had no shoes and were being chased by bugs..yeah it was pretty bad, but fortunately, we managed to stop one of the park rangers near the 1 mile to campground sign!
so we went back to get her keys and then went swimming again.
after that, we all rinsed off and went to get a bite to eat. we went to a place called D'Augustinos...probably the worst service i think i've ever had at a restaurant. the food was alright though.
then we went back to camp and just chilled for the rest of the night. it was cool, becasue the guy next to us showed us how to make a fire! it was cool.
Day 3) we packed up our campsite, went swimming and then went back to kalamazoo. we also stopped at a waffle house to eat some breakfast, it was pretty good. when we got to Joti's house, we all like passed out until Joti came home from class. we then went to the movie store...yes, the same one from last year..with the cafe, tanning salon and video arcade in it. it was sweet. we ended up renting white noise and snatch. pretty alright movies. and we got the best pizza too ---from Cottage Inn. soo good!
Day 4) we packed up our stuff, and then went downtown kalamazoo. one of the best pictures is the "construction" picture. too funny...so we're all walking and all of a sudden, i look back and tanya and stacie are across the street talking to some construction workers..next thing i know, tanya and stacie have their hats on. ahh, such a good picture.. anyways, then we went for ice cream at Cold Stone's creamery. it was our first time there, well, except for joti, but it was pretty good..minus the fact that the serving sizes were huge. So we finished our ice cream, and then went to order a pizza for on the way home. then we dropped joti off at home...a sad goodbye. I MISS YOU JOTI.
The Concert
So we got to the concert really early, and we all gambled like 5 bucks. the only person who got sort of lucky was Shannon, who made about 3 dollars. so after we gambled, we went outside and waited inline for merchandise. i got a black killers t-shirt and a black Louis xiv with pink on it. although i reallly wanted the black killers tee with the buildings on it. it looks sweet, i saw it on some chick but they weren't selling it there...and i can't seem to find it online...i will keep looking though!
So then we finally went to our seats, which were way out in the ghetto of the arena. it sucked..especially being in 7th row last time we saw them.
So first a group named Conner opened up, they were alright, some of their songs were good, its just too bad the crowd wasn't into them that much. then louis XIV came on. They were good but i think they played much better in detroit. and it sucked because the crowd wasn't that into them either. but they still did good.
Then..The Killers came on. Brandon was in all white..looking great as usual. We were sitting so far away that i think the rest of them were in all black...not sure though. Anyways, they opened up with Jenny, which is always a good one. they played change your mind, which ive had in my head for the past couple days i might add, basically everything from Hot Fuss except Believe Me Natalie and Everything Will Be Alright. Midnight Show and On Top were also good crowd pleasers. They played Under the Gun, which i happily sang along too, Indie Rock and Roll--soo good..great vocals and everything. ahh they're just too great. They ended with ATTTID. it was a great concert. I can't wait to see them again!!! i was soo tempted to wait and try to meet them again but we really needed to get going back to kalamazoo.
but it was an AMAziiNg show.
anyways, thats it!
sorry it was so long!
but the trip was very fun, and next year, for the record..Shannon will not be rotated out. she's got a permanent spot!

Hey hey, so it's been awhile...well, let's start with last week i guess, lots of working, went to Cedar Point Thursday, it was soo much fun, i wanna go back like now.! anyways, went on almost every ride i wanted to, except the Top Thrill Dragster. Everytime we walked by, the line was always an hour and a half or more. but went on the new maxAir ride, it was sweet, and went on the Millenium Force..oh i love it!
so then we crashed at Grammys for the night and headed back home because i had to work (boo).
Then saturday we woke up early and i made the nice 5 hour drive up to Petoskey (near traverse city MI) but it was totally worth it! we had such a good time and it was a good surprise! we haven't been there in so long and i wanna go back. it's just so charming ya know? like there downtown is all like little shops and boutiques, they don't have any malls or anything. so we left around 7pm and then i had to work at 6am for back to school floorset. i was soo glad i didn't have to work saturday night because they got out at 4:30am!!! Like, i cannot ever remember getting out THAT late from saturday night floorset, adn me and Dorothy were just like...that would've been us!! wheew.
and so, yeah, just have been working like everyday. Tomorrow is my day off, so were going to visit grammy, PLUS my Uncle is down from Washington! exciting! haven't seen him in awhile, ohh yeah, wanted to go to Washington before summers over..i wonder if that'll happen... and then later tomorrow, Jamie is coming down with her BF Brian. we're going to meet up with them and then maybe go to Stage & Deli for dinner. so it'll be a freaking sweet day =)
Then, next saturday is THE KILLERS concert! aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh i <3 them!!!!
and of course camping. I can't wait, because we haven't seen Joti in forever and it's always a good time when all of us are together. so it'll be so much fun adn i'm definately looking forward to it!!
on another note--who's looking forward to Harry Potter 6 ThIS Saturday?!?

so i think it may have been a while since i've last posted.
quiet frankly, i'm a bit too tired to type about the days past, but i do know, it's been filled with work...oh and lovely shopping yesterday =)
ari's grad is tomorrow, yippee!
her dress is so cute..it's one of those ballet type of dresses--its pink and oh so cute!
she really likes it and tomorrow, we're going to do her hair for her.
then, i work friday and saturday...fun fun fun
well, im off to bed...night!

so lets go back to friday...friday i had to work..joy! and then i went to woodys with stace and tanya and some dude. tanya already gone off 3 smirnoffs was soo crazy in the car. so we probably got home around 3 or so, and then i had to wake up to work at 10! boo. so then i work sat, skip sunday, monday went to visit my granmda. haha, she keeps on asking when i'm getting married. funny. went to 12 oaks, and then went to get a gift for terri's bridal shower saturday. today, ive got to drop my skirt off at the dry cleaners, go find a top to go with it, go to the bank, go get my schedule, and make a VIP call.
tomorrow i've got to go to this meeting or something because i won a 1,000 scholarship from my bank! sweet huh? so thats tomorrow night..
well, i think i'll go into the sauna now..gotta love having your own sauna!

This Post is all about the concert Monday and Toronto on Tuesday, in DETAIL...
Ahh OKay, so let me start, at 11:30 (yes thats right) we headed down to pick KAren up..Then made our way to the FOX theater. Ahh Parking was Great. right around the block. So the doors didn't open until 3..BUT people were lining up~! Yeah, it was good to know I wasn't the only crazy one.
By 12:30, we decided to chill for a bit at Johnny Rockets--something light though.
at about 1:30-2, we decided to go join the line. A bunch of other girls from windsor were there and were being soo annoying, by the way.!!
so, i got this nice 89X poster, and this poster from LOUIS XIV (Yes, i made the security gaurd get it for me!)
Bought a Sweet Ass Killers shirt. Hot Pink with black letters on the back (KILLERS) and a paor of legs in the front (black). Its hot.
Okay, the we went to check out the grounds, well, the meet and greet was only supposedly for people who bought the artists CDs @ the tents and who got a wrist band, so we went back into the FOX and got into line for our seats.
---by the way, i should mention, the concert was 3 stages : FOX, STATE & WOODWARD---
So, FINALLY the curtains open and we can go and get our seats! Yea, we ran to the front, and ended up in the 7th row, center. NOt Bad huh? I don't think so at all!
At around 4:30 The Blue Van came on. They were pretty good, their gutarist was crazzzzyyy!
Then LOUIS XIV came on shortly after the blue van finished up. AWESOME performance. They played LOUIS XIV (their song) which me and jess both LOVE.
So, it's about 5:30 maybe, and i'm like, oh hey, the killers are supposed to be out at the tents signing and shit, so i run out of the FOX and i take one look at the line To Get BACK IN, and it's HUGE!
So i did a Uturn to get back in and the security guard stops me becasue the FOX is full.
Yea, about 20 Minutes to get in.
AND i MIssed Finding OUt true Love is BLind!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, i was soo fucking pissed.
after Louis XIV , Sarah and Tegan came out. I liked maybe 3 songs total..yeah that's it...lol, i dunno, they sound like chip munks or something...or just that they like..fueled up on helium or something before the show..it was weird. yeah didn't like it very much.
THEN, Brendan Benson came on! I was so excited because we play his new song at AE and i know it! He did a really good job. I really gotta DL more songs from him!
After, Keane PLayed. AMazing. They blew me away. only because i honestly didn't think it'd be that good, but it was SO GooD!!
PLus i Loved his English Accent::

They started out with Jenny was a Friend Of MIne..SOO Good!! Brandon Flowers...Oh my ..do I really even NEED to tell you how gorgeous that guy really is in person??? Of Course Not, but I AM!!!
He wore his "Flower" pin..the really eye catching one..ahh yes.
He picked up dave and carried him around for a bit...Then, they left the stage!
Everyone was cheering soooo loud, and they waited, maybe another minute, and everyone just got louder, and then they finally came back OUt to finish with Smile Like You Mean It and All These Things That Ive Done.
It was the most FUCKING AMAZING COncert Ever...just...breath taking!!!
OKay, NOw for Toronto..
We got into Toronto at about 11:30, parked the car, and started walking.
We didn't really know where, but we eventually found H&M (at eaton center) and looked around for a bit. Then we hit Queens St and went to Urban Outfitters. I wanted the most awesome pants ever and stacie made fun of me :(
it really was alright because i didnt want them that bad.
So then leaving the store, I asked this girl where chinatown was, because i wanted to buy Louis Vuitton KOs...yeah so we made our way to Spadina and Queens...which by the way, was about an hours walk away. So we're going in and out of these damn shops and aren't finding any purses, so then we finally ask this one girl, and she tells us, those kinda things are in the chinatown in Markham.
Yeeaaa Great.
So we walked around for hours trying to find them and they weren't there...:(
my letdown of the day.
So on our way Back, we went to MUCHMUSIC--Now, people were starting to line up, and so we figured we'd stay. But i realllly wanted to get my poster~! (which didn't end up happening) but we did make some friends, this guy and his girlfriend were just as big of fans of the Killers as we were so we all clicked. PLus, he liked our shirts!!
So we lined up and eventually more nad more people start coming out. so then rick comes out, and now we're getting ready for the show and we;re lined up on the side, and he's like LOUIS XIV is gonna be here! and i was like, get out! i saw them Yesterday Night in Detroit!!
so then Louis XIV came out and i was like Heyy you guys were amazing last night, and they were like Thanks, and we got PIx with them and stace got her pic signed! They were sooo Nice! Loved Em.
So then they moved us in front of this window MUchMusic Has, and we waited for the Killers to come out. Only Brandon and Ronnie came, but hey, thats good enough for me!!!
so Brandon FLowerssss Signed my concert ticket and was sooo nice when i was talking to him! I love that guy!
and he Smellled..sooo good...like he was sweating and it smelling good...and hes so hot its just INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!

So let me update you...
I am offically volunteering for the SuperBowl in Detroit. How awesome..oh my gosh, i can't wait. I got a letter a week ago saying that they would contact me later and blah blah blah. Well, can you say hot football players? i can.
Monday is the concert!!!! i'm so excited for it!! i can't wait to see the killers, it just sucks theyre playing last! but i will be there.
Then--Tuesday, we (+ shannnon)are going to take the drive to toronto to see The Killers again!! at Much Music. Plus, we're going shopping.
*ChiinaaaTownn!! for cheap purses etc.*

It's going to be an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G week/weekend.
Arielle also went to her grade 8 trip, she left this morning for ..Toronto!
She gets back tomorrow night, oooh joy!

yea, 20 isn't that old, but it's 20 ya know?
so lets see, i've just been working and relaxing lately, that's all.
monday went to 12 oaks for a little bit, sephora mainly.
i hate my credit cards...i honestly want to chop them up...Tricked Ya...I could never do that..lol
so yesterday i went to get iced capps with shann and stace. shannon got me a "grams" carebear. too cute. tanya was supposed to come with us, but i guess she didn't want to go that late or something. OOh well. i didn't really want her to come anyways.
today i have lots of errands and shit to run...go grocery shopping since we have no groceries at all. pick up my schedule at work, mayyybee go to guess and buy a purse...we'll seeee
oooh lol, which reminds me..ari is going to Toronto May 25th...sooo, i pulled all the purses/hand bags i liked and printed them out for her.
because shes going to chinatown!!!!
do i care if theyre knockoffs? hmmm noo
so i've been kinda ..training (if thats the word) her to spot the good ones.

Well, it's 1:54am, and i have to work at 9:30! yayy
so i'm gonna be a little tired at work, but nothing a coffee can't handle-
this week really flew by.
hmm, i worked mon-wed. OC on thursday. Oh and rented movies : so of course, i return Oceans12 and A series of unfortunate events...go home, take a shower, ya know, get ready for bed...then i get outta the shower and my sister is holding Oceans12 in her hand.
What-a-Bitch.
Today..well, yesterday, i worked, then went to see The Amityville Horror with shannon and stacie. It was scary..i honestly had chills going through me as i watched this movie. not to mention shaking as i left the theater. But it was a good movie.
After, we went to get some iced capps, minus the ice. i haven't had one in ages! and it was crap. BOO
Ohh, and i talked to Nikki the other day...whom i haven't talked to in ages either. she's moving back home with her boyfriend. but she wants to keep in touch. ya, because i never heard her tell anyone it was my fault for not being friends with her.
Oh well, what can ya do?
now i've really gotta go to bed though.

This week i have had the most fucked up shifts at work.
all starting saturday: i worked a morning shift (about 4 hours), then had to go back at 6 pm till 2am, for our summer floorset. yeah mad hours.
skip Sunday
monday work till 11pm, then tuesday morning at 9am, then wednesday @ 12...
all i want to do is sleeeeeeeppppppp!!!!!!!
tomorrow is The OC. did i mention i missed last weeks episode due to a flat tire? oh yeah, sure did.
now i really can't wait for it to come out on DVD.
and i got my phone back from repair this week -- minus the ringtones and backgrounds i downloaded. okay, so maybe i wouldn't be pissed if it weren't for the fact that i had to pay for the damn things!
and it just so happens that the customer service number the lady gave me is always busy -literally-
im off to bed now though...

i've basically just been working, going to visit grandma ( Who, by the way, is on the cover of a pamphlet for this health care thing!) and since it's been GorGeous out. i've also been blading the trail. it feels good to clear my head when i'm out there.
I'm looking forward to going to the 89X concert in May..like a bitch. the Killers (!) are going to be there, so for 30 bucks..hell, i'd pay that to see them ALONE.

what a week.
lots of fighting and shit.
and my dad is being such an asshole. like seriously. sometimes i think theres definately something wrong with him.
ex. yesterday:
so we wanted to go to the frat party, and of course, i gotta drive him to work. now, usually he leaves around 10:30. no. yesterday he was like,
"i'm gonna leave around 11"
so i was like fiine. i knew he was doing it on purpose. so then hes all
"why do you guys want me outta the house?? you're trying to get rid of me aren't you?"
like..c'mon. ohh then he says i'm lucky ive never had a curfew and all this other shit.
Argghhhh!
---okay, so who would like to take me in?---
so then, at 11, he finally says we can go, because guess what! he never had to work in the first place. what a hoe.
so then we finally got to the party and the girl hands me a cup, even though she probably saw that i had keys in my hand. so i figured i'd have a drink or two.
which turned into four.
so yeah, it was a fun night.

i've finally found something to pass the hours while i'm not in school!
scrap booking! okay so it sounds a little..too crafty.
but really, it's fucking the shit.
got little star and circle jewels, the scrap book, and everything else for $1 ea. at target.
so why not right?
well, it's looking pretty damn good if i must admit, and it totally keeps me occupied in the a.m. hours when i'm bored!

i needed to take a break because i couldn't decide between 3 pictures. i was gonna put them all in, but they're big pictures and i didn't want to cut em. so i need to choose one of em...
and get ready for work. i work till 10, and i guess we're having some hawaiian party or something at work this weekend? i dunno i missed the message because i was in the states yesterday.
my favorite uncle is down from washington so i had to go visit! i was hoping my aunt would be with him but she's back home with my uncle mike whos got a really bad cold and in the hospital. but he leaves tuesday so we're going to see him maybe sunday or so.
speaking of next tuesday. march 8th. it's also my dad's 50th birthday. but he really does look younger. by atleast 5 years or so. and that's not a bad thing!
well, i gotta go get ready for work.

it's like..all thursday i anticipate the OC coming on. and damnit, why can't it come on now?
i can't wait for Lindsay to leave the show. gosh, she gets on my nerves.

I've also been watching all the old Miami Vice episodes with dad. wow..it's addicting. like i watched one. and i was like..this isn't bad..and now..every morning and night, i watch em!

although, next week im sad bc i have to work till 10. which means i -may- have to miss the OC.

my whole body aches.
i have a horrible bruise on my leg, i think my back is really fucked up and my one leg is practically broken =(
so yesterday night had to work floorset, wasn't bad. atleast it was the late one and only till 1. i got home around 1:30 and then watched a cinderella story with stacie and then went to bed.
oh and i woke up late and it took me 10 minutes to get to my dads work, only to find out he wasn't out yet.
so i'm really fucking tired.
i tried sleeping, but i have this cold *surprise surprise*
and other than that, i haven't been doing much..haven't talked to anyone or anything.
i fell like since i'm not going to school. or we're.
that we just dont ..associate with anyone anymore. i mean i know people have school..but i mean in the general fun hangout terms...
we did go to lunch with Alice friday. always a good time with her. and its like, we've known eachother for so long, we're family!

ugh, and i need to find another job. something that pays alright, but where i wouldn't mind working long hours. i dunno, it's just that sometimes at the mall, long hours can suck.
but i dunno. another job would be great..but we'll see.
on another note..i fucking hate snow. it's cold. it makes the roads slippery. you have to warm up your car. Ugh soo many problems.
